My Victorian romance story, "Mrs Beeton's Book of Magickal Management", is to be published in September in the excellent anthology Wilful Impropriety, edited by Ekaterina Sedia (!), introduced by Scott Westerfeld (!!) and including such luminaries as Mary Robinette Kowal, Marie Brennan, and Caroline Stevermer (!!!!!).
I am excite, Internets, for, as I confided to you, it has long been my ambition to sell a short story, and lo, it has been realised!
Also I got to write a romance, always awesome, with an absent-minded scholar, and a beautiful noblewoman, and not at all beautiful but very resourceful maid and a good-tempered gentleman. (Not all at once, although there would be nothing wrong with that, especially in a collection of stories about breaking boundaries and defying social norms, but I did something else.) Also, desperate villainy and crucial magic!
This is the cover:

Is it not beauteous? I love it. Especially since the lady is wearing dark makeup, so SCANDALOUS. Why, I bet she's not even wearing a corset!
That Table of Contents again, for the satisfaction of your curiosity:
AT WILL by Leanna Renee Hieber
THE UNLADYLIKE EDUCATION OF AGATHA TREMAIN by Stephanie Burgis
NUSSBAUM'S GOLDEN FORTUNE by M. K. Hobson
THE COLONEL'S DAUGHTER by Barbara Roden
MERCURY RETROGRADE by Mary Robinette Kowal
FALSE COLOURS by Marie Brennan
MRS BEETON'S BOOK OF MAGICKAL MANAGEMENT by Karen Healey
THE LANGUAGE OF FLOWERS by Caroline Stevermer
THE DANCING MASTER by Genevieve Valentine
THE GARDEN OF ENGLAND by Sandra McDonald
RESURRECTION by Tiffany Trent
OUTSIDE THE ABSOLUTE by Seth Cadin
STEEPED IN DEBT TO THE CHIMNEY POTS by Steve Berman
Tomorrow: I post my short story, "The Unicorn Bell"!
